Police are investigating two fires that they say were lit intentionally in pizzerias in Montreal North early Wednesday morning.
The fires, at 4960 and 5410 Charleroi St., caused "considerable" damage to both restaurants, said Montreal police Constable Anie Lemieux. They were lit just minutes apart, she said, starting at around 3:20 a.m. The residents of one home in the area had to be evacuated, but were allowed to return to their house a short time later.
