At about 3 A.M. Sunday morning I experienced what was described as a "mild" heart attack.
This was my first.
I recognized the classic symtoms and had my partner drive me to the nearest hospital.
61 hours later I am home.
I would like to express my undying (wink) gratitude to the staff of North York and Sunnybrooke hospitals in Toronto for their professionalism and bed side manner, which made the whole experience much better than it might have been.
Anyone who tries to tell you the American system is superior is out of their fucking profit driven minds. I was treated by professionals and didn't come out bankrupt.
