A retired couple in Nova Scotia who won a $11.2 million lottery prize in July has given it all away to family and various organizations.
Allen and Violet Large of Lower Truro say they're already comfortable and quite happy.
"What you've never had, you never miss," Violet, 78, said.
The big win in the Lotto 6-49 draw on July 14 did come at a difficult time in their lives, The Canadian Press reported.
Violet was undergoing treatment for cancer, but she's been through surgery and finished her last chemotherapy treatment a week ago.
After the win, they took about a week to work out the details before embarking on their spending spree.
They took care of family first and then began delivering donations to the groups they decided on, including the local fire department, churches and the Red Cross.
