Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) workers have voted against a tentative agreement reached last weekend and workers were to have walked off the job last night.
The union that represents nearly 9,000 operating and maintenance employees says 65 per cent of members who voted rejected the tentative settlement.
The tentative deal had been forged last Sunday, narrowly averting a walkout the following morning. The deal was ratified earlier this week by the TTC.
No wonder people beat up busdrivers.
