One of Montreal's lesser intelligences speaks out about his part in the hockey riot

"I hope you don't think I'm a bad person," said one of the people accused of participating in the street violence after Monday's NHL playoff game...

...The man, who spoke on condition that his name not be used, said the combination of alcohol, mass euphoria and his disdain of the police made him do it.

The triple threat of idioticy.

An avid hockey fan, he said he'd been drinking and watching the game on television at a friend's house, then went downtown to celebrate, where his intoxicated state led him to "do stupid things" alongside the crowd.

But he stressed that he did nothing to hurt average citizens - or anyone's business."

That's how people make their living, you know."

Shucks no, really??

So 10 years later, this person has now matured into a full adult...

Yet when it comes to the police, he is resentful and has disdain for law officers.

When he was 15 years old, he says, a group of 10 to 15 older men cornered him in a bus shelter and beat him up because he had thrown snowballs at their apartment building. But when he called the police, they didn't help him or believe him.

This is genius goes on to complain the police "bruised me up real bad," during the riot, oh sorry, intoxicated state led him to "do stupid things"

No sir you're not a bad person..you are like I said, someone with the IQ of a doorknob.
