The Censored 11
The New York Times and Youtube are a bit behind on this. Anyone who lives in Montreal or Toronto will be familiar with Regg Hart and his screenings. These cartoons and many others have also been available on the net for years now. I myself have viewed many and many.
They absolutely need be seen and talked about. To sweep a part of history under the rug because you don't like it is dishonest (helllooo Disney).
These cartoon do reflect the nastier undercurrent of culture at that time. I wonder what made today will be an embarrassment to future generations.
