Harper bans student from rally for "Facebook ties"

Conservatives, divisive as usual.

LONDON, ON

On Sunday, Awish Aslam, a second-year political science student at the University of Western Ontario, and a friend tried to attend a Sunday rally with Conservative Leader Stephen Harper when they were asked to leave by a RCMP officer.

Aslam's brother, Saad Aslam, the VP of Student Affairs from Wilfrid Laurier University, received a text from his sister and tweeted:

Student just told me they were kicked out of #ldnont @pmharper rally by RCMP for having "facebook ties" to @M_Ignatieff in #elxn41 the_saad
