The contentious debate over city funding for Pride Toronto has been delayed until May.
Mayor Rob Ford made a successful motion at Wednesday morning’s executive committee meeting to defer the issue until the committee’s May 24 meeting.
Ford said “many, many” people had called and written to him saying they couldn’t go to City Hall to express their feelings on Wednesday because they were observing the Jewish holiday Passover.
If Pride survives this nasty little man's time in office, I'll be very much surprised.
