World class engineers called in to reenforce stage as His Lord Mayor Rob Ford makes his "theatre debut"

Didn't anyone tell His Highness that theatre is mainly for pinko limp wristed types?

Oh I see...

Everyone finds their own way of coming out. Mayor Ford, I'm sure you'll look Fabulous!

Mayor Rob Ford will make his “theatre debut” to an auditorium full of March Break giddy children this Friday in a special cameo appearance in the musical Thomas Saves the Day. His Worship will make his entrance at 2:25 p.m. on the Sony Centre stage, according to a playfully worded press release entitled “The Gravy Train is NOT stopping here!”

In what surely means something to legions of Thomas the Tank Engine fans, the release advises that “Sir Topham Hatt will welcome Mayor Ford to the Island of Sodor as they prepare for the Magic Lantern Festival.”

Thomas & Friends Live! On Stage in “Thomas Saves the Day” is a 90 minute touring show that is in Toronto this weekend.
