Fear driven Conservatives push for crime bill

Conservatives seem to be motivated by fear.

"But Mr. Harper sir, crime rates are down...."

"Umm, uh, sputter, ummmm, more jails!!!"

Stephen Harper is expected to promise an omnibus law-and-order bill that will wrap together 11 pieces legislation the party was unable to pass previously and have it voted on within 100 days if the party is re-elected, as he unveils the party's platform Friday.

Notice how fast they would do it. Fear is a great motivator.

They are also dangling money...

The Tories announced Thursday that the tax-free savings account annual limit will be doubled to $10,000. The party has also pledged an income-splitting plan for double-income households and new fitness-related tax credits.

Those promises will not come into effect until the deficit is eliminated, which the Tories estimate will be in 2015-2016.

Ha, the bullshit, it burns! it burns!
