The auditor general to release G20 cost report, pleased in the knowledge nobody will do f*ck all about it

Thanks for waiting until after the election. Wouldn't want Canadians making informed decisions, now would we?

If current conservative thinking is anything to go by, Harper's supporters wouldn't care if it cost 20 billion, as long as one left leaning citizen is outraged, then it is worth it (sorry world, but it's true, Harper and Co, have succeeded in turning Canadian politics into a "us vs. them" mentality. Read comments from Ford/Harper supporters on any major Canadian media outlet to get the tone of their thinking. Or just hire Don Cherry to insult the Pinkos...).

The auditor general's office finally releases a final report Thursday on the costs of the controversial G8 and G20 summits hosted by Canada last summer.

Acting auditor general John Wiersema will table the office's spring 2011 report in the House of Commons at 10 a.m. ET. It includes two highly anticipated chapters on last June's meetings in Huntsville, Ont., and Toronto, including a look at millions spent on projects in Conservative cabinet minister Tony Clement's Parry Sound-Muskoka riding.

The third chapter focuses on how the Department of National Defence developed a pension plan for its reserve force.

Harper won't care how much it cost in the end. Very dime was worth it in his mind, covering Toronto with military style police helped cover his embarrassment on how bland Toronto really is.

That, and the Wall to keep those nasty peasants at bay....
