Large condominiums acceptable to 52% of study's respondents

In what is the most frightening news so far today, a group called the " Sustainable Urban Development Association" has concluded:

The authors of a new housing survey to be released today say their findings challenge the "prevailing belief" that suburban homebuyers in the GTA demand low-density housing.

The survey conducted by the Mississauga-based Sustainable Urban Development Association found that living in a large condo unit (three bedrooms or more) was acceptable or may be acceptable to 52 per cent of respondents.

Nearly half of respondents (48 per cent) consider living in a townhouse as "acceptable" or "may be acceptable."


Deeply deeply disturbing if true (and I'm not sure that it is), and the condo nightmare continues to work its way into the fabric of our society.
