"The Queen" is an interesting movie. Once you get over Helen Mirren's uncanny recreation of Elizabeth that is. This may not be the way the real woman is, but how we would like her to be.
It's a story of power and how it is used. Make no mistake, she is still the monarch.
It also shows the people in power at home, making tea and watching the telly. With crazy grandma and loudmouthed Philip.
The movie revolves around the events of Diana's death in 1997, and the reactions of the Crown and the government of Tony Blair. The world really did lose it's mind that week, didn't it?
It is a film that has several messages to give, as the best films should.
