U.S. corporations can now f*ck over the voters much more freely

How naive of me. Here I thought: corporations make stuff, I buy it if I want, end of story, stay out of our lives after that, thanks awfully.

The geniuses in the U.S. Supreme Court see the Universe* through different eyes...

*a Universe that actually thinks corporations are people. What kind of messed up lunatic would come up with an idea like that...oh right...

The Supreme Court threw out a 63-year-old law designed to restrain the influence of big business and unions on elections Thursday, ruling that corporations may spend as freely as they like to support or oppose candidates for president and Congress. The decision could drastically alter who gives and gets hundreds of millions of dollars in this year's crucial midterm elections.
