Oh good, less choice

The news that Adobe is buying out Macromedia does not make me happy. As a Mac user, I am grateful I have a choice when it comes to OS (the thought of battling the virus/spyware/worm of the day is just not for me).

Now, with this latest corporate..um..acquisition ("[it] is not a consolidation play"), I as a designer will have to go to Adobe for industry standard programs, and with less competition, they will have even less reason to make their products better.

Just like Microsoft...and Fox News...and
