Don't Panic
Saw "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" on Friday. Now, I am familiar with the radio, tv, and book versions, so...when they stuck to the spirit of the original it was humourous, but when they didn't, the movie dragged and just had no laughs. Sam Rockwell is great though.
Wait for it to show up on cable. You won't have long.
Star Trek
Friday evening was "Enterprise: In a Mirror, Darkly pII". As you may know, I was less than kind with the first part of episode (and stand by that), but this one was a vast improvement. Many have waited to see TOS re-imagined and here is probably the closest we will ever see. Yes Scott Bakula can't act, and some of the violence was over the top, and wtf with that Gorn, but it had a classic starship, phasers, minishirts and possibly the best cross scene edit in Star Trek history, ever.
I will miss Star Trek, Enterprise not so much.
