Giuseppe and Francesca Piterna have lived in their three bedroom home in west-end Toronto for 45 years, but on Thursday morning they’re being evicted because a trust company foreclosed on them...
...The family’s real estate agent Keith Myrick managed to find a buyer for the property and secure an agreement to sell the Davenport Ave. and Old Weston Rd. home for $233,000.
But the Bank of Nova Scotia trust company has turned down the deal.
“I don’t think $233,000 gets everyone paid,’’ said David Dolson, the lawyer for the trust company.
