Is HBO blocking Real Time podcasts outside the U.S.?
Sure seems like they are. Move over Comedy Central, make room Hulu, there a new player screwing with the net on the block.
There are reports, which I can confirm, that recent podcasts are broken on download, and that you can't even subscribe to Real Time anymore.
No message to listeners, no nothing. Just a broken service and a big Fuck You.
Why bother to have a podcast in the first place, and then block it? (Yes I know, to force us to buy the watered down version of HBO they pass off here in Canada).
Ever notice when big money'd interests get there hands on anything, restrictions suddenly go up?
