Bulls-eye on the Mormons

Boy it must hurt to have your bigotry exposed for all to see...

A new commercial against proposition 8 in California is expected to fuel the fire of an already heated debate over gay marriage.

The commercial depicts two Mormon missionaries invading the home of a same sex couple...

...The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is not happy with the tactics used in this commercial.

Scott Trotter with the Church released this statement,

“The Church has joined a broad-based coalition in defense of traditional marriage. While we feel this is important to all of society, we have always emphasized that respect be given to those who feel differently on this issue. It is unfortunate that some who oppose this proposition have not given the Church this same courtesy.”

"we have always emphasized that respect be given to those who feel differently on this issue"

Respect is the last thing the Mormons are showing, as respect would not lead you to take rights away.

They deserve to have all the light shone on them to expose them for what they are.

Seems the irony of their statements are lost on them:

"...new lows of religious bigotry and intolerance," said Yes on 8 Chairman Ron Prentice...No on 8 campaign has been running their own television commercials saying we must all oppose discrimination and intolerance whenever we see it."

The ad is "oppos[ing] discrimination and intolerance".
