Having almost been hit by one of those fucking mirrors, I can relate.
Police are investigating after a middle-aged man was hit by the side mirror of a city bus on the corner of St. Hubert and De Maisonneuve streets in Montreal.
Witnesses say the man was struck by the mirror as he was crossing the street...
...This is not the first time a bus's side mirror has caused serious injuries in Montreal.
In 1998, Concordia student Raphael Imer was killed by a mirror on the driver's side of a similar bus, made by Quebec company Nova. The coroner looking into Imer's death ruled it was an accident but suggested that the mirror posed a safety concern.
